System Flush

Heavy Duty Universal Cleanser is a quick and effective neutral cleanser for central heating systems. It is designed to remove all debris, sludge and scale from existing systems of all ages. In this way, it will restore heating efficiency and eliminate or reduce boiler noise. It has also been designed for pre- commission cleansing new installations in accordance with BS7593:1992, removing flux residues and other debris, thereby helping extend the life of a system.

Inhibitor Added

Gives long term protection of domestic central heating systems against internal corrosion and limescale formation. It prevents corrosion of all metals found in these systems, i.e. ferrous metals, copper and copper alloys and aluminium. It is suitable for all types of boiler, radiators and pipework systems, is compatible with all metals and materials commonly used in central heating systems.

Magnetic Scale Reducer

When hard water is heated, the natural minerals contained in the water break down into insoluble crystals which deposit out within water systems as a scale, on the hottest surfaces. These are usually heat transfer surfaces, hot water cylinders and pipework. This scale not only restricts water flow, but acts as a very effective insulant, reducing heat transfer and efficiency. More fuel is required to heat the water and, in extreme cases, boilers may not be able to reach the designed operating temperature.

Heavy scale deposits can also lead to localised overheating of heat transfer surfaces, resulting in premature failure of heating appliances. In certain hard water areas, the problem can be so severe that regular chemical descaling of equipment is necessary to maintain efficiency; the only alternative being to replace heat exchangers.

These expensive and inconvenient procedures can be overcome economically and simply by installing a scale reducer in the water supply pipe.
